IP = innings played (per game) and PA = plate appearances and decisions = "the number team games that season divided by twelve rounded to the nearest integer" it is confusing and not the commonly understood abbreviations.

A decision is what the outcome of a game is. Whether it is a win, a loss, postponed, or delay. IP means Innings Pitched.
